He can veto the bill for two reason
1) So maybe you will join the military
2) His friends aren't poor.

You need to get all your facts straight before you start sounding off. I know; I let my alligator mouth overload my hummingbird *** all the time. I am not a fan of President Bush, but I just gotta tell you....he did the right thing on this. He vetoed that bill because congress tacked on language that would provide more benefits and support amnesty for illegal aliens. Your beef is with the congress, not the president. They are the ones who took a bill they figured the president would not dare veto, and included this stuff for illegals into it. What we really need is a law insisting upon pure bills, without everyone's private agenda stapled on the end of it before it goes to the president for signature. People who are supporting Bush on this are NOT heartless people; they are people who are very tired of supporting the illegals in this country. And, I am not a Republican.

Sorry I am glad Bush vetoed it. Get off your butt and start earning your own living so that the children have the support they need instead of relying on someone else to do it for you. That isn't heartless. That is standing on your own two feet and having some respect for yourself and your children.
