Does Bush or any of the others who voted against the health care policy know that there is an epidimic in the schools right now involving a virus that is killing children? Or do they know that most children need physicals each school year to start or shots or TB test for school/daycare? And I'm limiting my questions to American children only!!!

Speaking of tax payers money...Bush doesn't seem to mind spending your and MY tax dollars on funding the war with rediculous amounts and funding aid to other countries(including healthcare) Same dollars, wrong priorities. I'm sure most of you would take care of home first.

The fact is that there are poor who have children. The second fact is that Republicans don't care. Another fact is that in this economy - there will even be more poor and homeless (look at all the foreclosures!).
I guess the way G.W. sees it is that if all the poor kids die, that will save more money for him and the rich.
Oh, the reason it is for children up to 25 years old, is for kids in college or still in school who make little or no income and don't have insurance.

The virus does not care one bit about this bill and will not go away if it is passed. All this bill does is waste more taxpayer money on more ineffective government pork. The way to get the children you pretend to be so concerned about under care is to make health care affordable by using an open market system. Get rid of the monopoly held by the AMA and the drug companies and this will happen.

Yes he knows.
He also knows that he has increase SCIP funding 184% since he has been President.
Thats right, Bush increased funding for childrens health care 184% over the last 7 years.
Makes ya wonder why you don't hear that from the media ?

Yes, he also knows that people who make 65,000 a year should be able to pay for their own healthcare.
doctors said the treatment for the "epidemic" is to wash kids' hands and bathe them.....wow, should we increase funding and pass a bill for that? or maybe make teachers start bathing the kids in addition to raising them.

We all know... of course the bill he vetoed had little to do with any of that. Did you know the bill would have made benefits available for "children" 25 years old? I'm not sure, but a virus found in an elementary school has little to do with them.

My God.....you are right. How did we ever survive without our neighbors tax money paying for our healthcare. Bush should legislate that the definition of child is 25 years old, and poor is $80,000.00 a year. Duh how can he be soooo selfish? Why not pass legislation that its illegal to be sick? That should solve that problem.
Then we can use our neighbors tax dollars to pay our cable bills because I feel cable tv is a fundamental right for all Americans.
Feel me?

Did you know that NO CHILD will be or can be turned away from an emergency room without treatment regardless of ability to pay? If you are so hot for socialized medicine please migrate to someplace that already has it, I might even chip in to pay some of your one way ticket, but please don't force that nightmare on me.

Bush is on top of it, yes.
Does he feel I should have to pay for medical care for the children of those making twice as much as I do, no.
I happen to agree with him.
