If you like Twilight and Harry Potter, you should try Anne Rice's vampire chronicles. Veeeerrry good fantasy fiction. I started reading them when I was a teenager and I still re-read them now from time to time. You could also look for Sergei Lukyanenko's books, as he's brilliant with fantasy as well. He wrote The Night Watch, which I believe was made into a movie recently. I haven't seen it, but maybe you could find it and see whether you'd like to try more of his work. If you don't mind talking animals, you can have a go at Brian Jacque's Redwall series; it sounds really lame, but it makes up for the vomity cuteness with really spellbinding settings, characters and battles. And of course, if you've not yet read Raymond E. Feist's Riftwar series, which includes Magician (possibly the greatest fantasy novel ever written) then you should definately give that one a go.

I'm not a teenager any more and i developed a lot slower than most of my peers reading wise but i strongly recommend the Babysitters club by Ann M. Martin these books are out of print and difficult to find so try charity shops and ebay ask a parent or guardian to help you though

I don't know if they are still on the market but years ago every teenage girl read "Nancy Drew Mysteries". They were really good and clean writing.

I really enjoyed the "His Dark Materials" trilogy by Phillip Pullman. Although if you're Christian and touchy about it, you might not like them much... nevertheless, they're very popular.
