it depends if you call Australia a continent or not. Some scientists argue that Australia is a land mass but is still not large enough to be called a continent and therefore is part if Oceania, which incorporates New Zealand and most South Pacific nations. However, in America, Australia is considered a 'continent'

An odd thing, in the U.S. Australia is considered a continent. In many other countries the continent is Oceania (including New Zealand and many other countries), the country Australia.

As you can see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Continent#Number_of_continents the American method of partitioning continents is by no means universally accepted.

Australia is both a continent and country
Antarctica is a continent but there is no governing country
just scientific studies go on there

I would say Australia (Oceania) But...

BUT

There is a sub Continent, Also refered to as India, (or/Pakistan, Nepal ect...)
