What are some good story writing topics?

Im just looking for a good conflict to a fiction story i could get some ideas from.
Something like a girl chosen to be the sacrafice or be the savior of the world or something like the last hope for humanity i guess. Sorta like mangas i guess,

The conflict could be that she's upsetting the balance of political power, so there are people trying to stop her.
