Measure yourself across the fullest part of your bust. This is the measurement.
34
Now measure yourself just under your breasts, for the chest measurement.
32
You subtract the smaller from the larger to get 2.
This give you the cup size of "B" ("A' is 1", "C" is 3 inches)
Do understand that about 85% of women do NOT wear the proper size bra for them.

Do you have a Kohls department store near you? They usually have a special bra fitter who helps you get the right size.
The numbers are the chest size, if measured right under the boobs--it's in inches around your ribs so they can get the right fitting that's not too tight.
The A, B, C, etc. is the cup size. You need to get the right size that feels comfortable for you. An A is hardly anything, B is pretty standard, and C is a good size handful on each boob.
You're allowed to try on bras in the fitting room. The bra should be comfortable, not tight, not digging into your shoulders with the straps, not cutting under your armpits where the cup curves up. It shouldn't shift when you move. Most people pick one too small.
They're like shoes, some styles fit a LOT better than others.
Underwire bras cut in really bad, and will hurt if worn for long periods of time, but they help a large chested woman look good in a low cut dress, so these torture devices stay on the market.
Try to look for a bra without a horizontal seam on the bra cup. It won't show through the clothing (like panty lines) and it won't cut in on you after being worn for hours. Smooth cups always feel better to wear. And check the elastic on the straps, that's the first place a bra will wear out, the elastic stretches and won't hold you 'up' after a while. The supposed lifespan of a bra is between six months to a year. After that the elastic is shot from being in and out of the washer and dryer so much.

Well the numeric part would be the meaurement around your body. The letter is the cup size. The bras should say both the measurement and the size. I remember when I was 12 wearing a 32 B. I'd try on a few different sizes and get the one that best fits you. Also if you have a victorias secret near you they will actually give you a fitting. It's proven that most women actually wear the wrong bra size, so that would not be a bad idea. It will help with back pains and other issues later down the road.

The number (32, 34, etc.) is the band size, which measures around your ribcage, under the boobs. The letter (a, b, c, etc.) is the cup size, which measures the size of the actual boobies.
To find your band size, measure in inches around your ribcage under the bust, and add 5. For the cup size, measure around the bust at the fullest point, then compare it to your band size. If the difference is 1 inch, you're an A cup, 2 inches B cup, 3 inches C cup and so on.
As far as whether a 32 or 34 is the right size for you at 12, it really depends on your measurements.

The numbers (32, 34) is your chest size. It measures just below your breast. This is so the bra stays secure on you. The letter a/b/c are the cup size. They are the actual size of your breast. If you are 12 you probably only need a training bra. Have you tried talking to your mom? You will need help with it. If you don't have anyone that could help you, go to walmart and get some training bra to try on.

32 or 34 is the size in inches around your bust...so if your 32 inches around that means you're prolly on the slim side.
The letters are the cup size a b c d e f.....it goes up. It just describes the size cup you need to wear bases on how full your breasts are. The bigger the cup size, the larger your breasts.
So if your a 32/34a then that means your 32inches around from breast to back and you fill out cup size "a", the smallest and first cup size. You're basically a slim girl with average sized boobs for a twelve year old.

the size 32 or 34 means the size you are around. The a,b,c means the cup size or the size of your boobs. Always remember to try on a bra before you purchase. Some bra's are made differently and don't fit the same.

A is small, the sizes 32, 34, etc are the measurment around your ribs under your boobs. You should try them on to make sure you get a good fit. If you are embarrised go to a store like Victoria's Secret then it will be basically all women so its not so intimidating they are all there for the same thing you are. Also they can give you a profesional fitting free.

Go to Victoria's Secret... they will tell you what size you are. The number part... 32 34 36, is how far around it is right below your breast. The A B and C is how full your breast is.
Victoria's Secret will help you, for free, and tell you what you are.
Always try on a bra, as size differs from different stores.

Hey sweety, well, the 32, 34, 36, etc. is the measurement right under your breast along your rib cage (where your bra sits). The a, b, c, etc. is the cup size.
Hope this helps!
p. s. My daughter, Autumn, is 11 years old, and wears a 34 A (she will kill me if she finds out that I just announced that, lol). You are just right, and remember, everybody grows at different rates, so don't worry if you are too big or too small.
Just enjoy your youth!
