The Ottoman Empire's genocide against the Armenians is an unfortunate event in history, acknowleged by almost everyone except the Turks. The Armenian's living in the United States are a powerful and well organized group that has been working on this resolution for a long time. Pelosi has little or nothing to do with getting this ball rolling. It's been in the works for a while.

As for the Turks, they'll get over it. They need the good graces of the U.S. a lot more than we need or care about them.

WWIII?? Don't look now, but it has already started. It's just that most people haven't noticed it yet. Remember, the first world war started out slowly too, but kept building.

Sounds like it.

Congress should have left this up to the historians to sort out. Is Congress interested in passing a resolution calling Germany's slaughter of the Jews a massive genocide and Holocaust? Somehow, I don't think so.

And invading Iraq/threatening North Korea/Iran isn't threatening World War III? You're seriously bringing up World War III and using a pointless waste of time resolution that congress passed about something 80 years ago is more threatening to the World than those? You good sir, are an idiot.

She's not an amateur, she knows exactly what she's doing - She's undermining our war effort since her democrat-led congress won't end the war themselves, they're looking for a back door way to do it.

That was Bush's take! He said that,

51 countries have already condemned the Turks. I guess we should just ignore it because? We can't use their airspace? They are already in Iraq and I guess you think the Turks will nuke us?

This is amateur hour with Bush making inciting statements as usual!
