Sperm stays 'alive' for up to and sometimes over three days inside you. So if you were just going to start your period, and if it's in there, there's the possibility of it fertilizing an egg or going up the falopian tube and doing a tubal pregnancy.

If you're referring to a child getting pregnant before they have their first period, yes that's possible too--if they were sexually active in the month their first period was to start. Their body would have released the first egg and it would be there to be fertilized, should sex be initiated.

If you have never had a period, then you can't get pregnant. Your first period means that you are now releasing an egg each month, which when fertilized by a male, is how you get pregnant. No period, no egg.

Yes, there was a case where a 5 year old peruvian girl became pregnant and gave birth to a child. She is the youngest mother in recorded history so far.

Very strange... and I hope rare, but it does sometimes happen.

Well if you sleep with someone right before you get your first one, then yes you could. Just use a condom and you wont have to worry to much about these things. You can get them from free from many places.

That when you usually do become pregnant. Your period is associated with the system aborting the egg cell. The sperm cell can best fertilize the female cell prior to menstruation.

you can! the timing has to be perfect though- your body is ready to support a baby a week before your period. so if you have sex during the week before your first period, then you can be pregnant before you have your period. cool... kinda.
