Shakespeare was wonderful, but for pure enjoyment I'd have to go with Jane Austen. She wrote wonderful and witty stories with interesting characters that seem like real people. She also peoples her stories with some fun, quirky characters, and her dialog is great. I love all of her books.

My second in the favorites category would have to be Charles Dickens. He uses description beautifully and makes inanimate objects come alive. He also has any number of unconventional characters in his stories whose names are often perfectly descriptive of their personalities or traits.

Shakespeare. When you actually take the time to read his words out loud, it is truly beautiful. I know it sounds weird, but once you are older (you seem quite young because you spelled author wrong, no offense, just an assumption) try reading some if his works. They are astounding.
