But say i have 100 dollars on the debit card

I want to buy 25 dollars worth of stuff using paypal

Will pay pal automatically take out 25 dollars from the debit card?

I entered in my debit card as the primary source or w.e its called.

It's exactly how it is if you go to a grocery store and use your debit card there. It has no fees and it automatically takes the amount out of your bank account.

If you pay for something via PayPal and don't have existing funds, they debit the charge from your primary funding source, in this case, your debit card. They only debit the amount of the transaction.

No, you should not see any additional fees as a result of this.

It's a simple process. You'll see it listed in your history on your PayPal account. You'll also see it listed on your debit card/bank statement.

it will take it out automatically. there is no extra fee as far as i know(thats how i use it too). What it usually does if you are purchasing like on Ebay or some online store is it will write what's called an E-Check. which is basically(as the name defines) an electronic check. so it may take a few days to clear..

Hope that answers your question :-)

It's exactly like using a bank account on paypal. You have to authorize the transfer of funds from your card to paypal. Then you can pay for your item using paypal.

Even tho I use Paypal all the time and could answer this question, I think it's easier if you just call them and have your questions confirmed with them. Call PayPal directly toll-free at: 1-888-221-1161 and ask them and you will get the exact answers to your questions.

They will actually charge you like 2cents just to verify your card, then once it's verified, when you check out through pay pal... they money is electronically drawn from the account.

If you are the one paying for the item, you are only charged for the item - nothing more.

If you were the one that had sold it, you might be charged 3.9% or something like that of the total charge.
