Prostitution in Idaho is a crime, but he was accused of solicitation: http://www3.state.id.us/cgi-bin/newidst?sctid=180200001.K
Is too vague saying that if you ask someone to commit a crime then that is illegal, but being gay and asking for sex isn’t illegal only PAYING for sex and no money was shown or discussed.

According to http://www3.state.id.us/cgi-bin/newidst?sctid=180560013.K sexual contact in a public place is illegal, but sexual contact wasn’t made, feet aren’t a sex organ.

Opps, okay Minn. The point is according to state law and I am sure Minn. law is similar he wasn't guilty of anything. It isn't illegal to ask for sex in a public place it is illegal to offer to pay for it or to ask for payment. The Minn. police are targeting gays here illegally. No I am not gay, but they do have rights just like anyone else.

He basically wasn't guilty of anything. He should have kept his mouth shut.

Since he was busted in Minnesota, Idaho law would not apply. He admitted to solicitation for sex in a public restroom. You feel the need to split hairs? It's an airport not a sex club. Children use those bathrooms. How would you like it if your kid got to see that crap?

He was arrested in Minneapolis-St Paul, which is not, if my geography is correct, in Idaho.
