We live and Die and between those certain destinations we figure out the many variables between here and there.Everything has a purpose in life and real accomplishments take real preparation,we don't go to school to not get an education,we do go to work not to get paid,we don't buy a house and don't move into it.We cannot expect that this life is permanent nor is death the end.
Allah say in the Qur'an chapter 35: "O Men certainly the promise of Allah is true,so do not let this life deceive ,nor let the chief deceiver(Satan) deceive you about this life"
peace be upon those who are sincere seekers of truth.Amen

Today, take each day as it comes and embrace it with all your heart , love your kids/partner/family as though it was your last day on earth , then if you get through that day , do the same again.Do not just expect tomorrow to come as expected , as life is full of nasty surprises.
