If you are that sick of your situation, why would you care if the house sold. Just leave. What you will get back is your sanity...Relationships aren't about market conditions..

The market is horrible. You can put the house on the market and you may get lucky and be able to sell. The other options are, one of you moves out and you get roommates. Or you can short sell the property. Do you have any equity in the home? I don't recommend a short sell but it might be better than a foreclosure. Is there anyway you can make the relationship work? Have you tried any counseling? Although the house isn't worth your happiness. If you're sure you need to get out then do so.

If things are as bad as you say ,just leave! You can settle the home situation after you are away from him, and at a safe distance. If your home life is that bad, no amount of money in the world is worth it! Attorneys settle these cases everyday,so YOU dont have to!!!!!!!!!! Sue him for your share! Good Luck!!!!!!!

you would have to get him to agree to sell since you own a home together. if he agrees you can call "we buy ugly houses" or one of the other companies like this. you will not get much money for it but they will buy your house quickly. you can tell them what you want to get out of it and negotiate to get the best price.

Whatever happens, you are going to need his signature as well. Your best bet would be to just rent a cheap apartment for the time being.

Good luck.
