First thing do not get too excited. I know a bunch of people that were extras and its not a big deal. Listen to what people say. Expect to wait on set for a long period of time. Unfortunately it all depends on the movie. FYI, please do not go around saying "i was in a movie". Most people will either disbelieve you, or they will think you are a nut. Hope i help.

From what i'm able to bear in mind with regard to the movie, it relatively is fantastically clean and healthful the full way via. there is just one short scene for some minute the place Amelie is having intercourse with an previous boyfriend (she would not discover it relaxing and is form of bored) and via the that scene she starts off fantasizing that a majority of those people are having passoniate wild intercourse throughout France/international, which motives her to grin and snigger. it relatively is fairly an extremely short 2nd interior the movie and something of the movie is freed from nudity and cursing. you are able to attempt having your mom and dad watch it first on DVD in the event that they're in touch. Oh, I purely remembered. there is yet another scene the place her buddy has intercourse w/ a guy interior the eating place bathing room, yet i think of you purely pay attention them. No nudity in that scene.

I've done extra work for some major motion pictures. They suggest not looking very attractive, and never wear red, white, or black -- those colors are reserved for the stars. Other than that, just do as you are told, expect long boring delays as they set up the scenes and cameras.

Just because you're not a lead role or anything, do something to make yourself stand out, instead of being an "extra," be "a random background person who caught my eye."

Hahah. Good Luck!

Just do whatever the director tells you. Chances are, all you will have to do is mill around looking extra-ish. What movie are you in?

I've been an extra for thirty years, and theres one thing I've learned. If the director or on of the "ad's" ask for a volunteer, do it! you might get a speaking role!

Look the part. Don't try to be on camera. Just think of it as a big stage and do what ever you do.

be as great as you can, but not trying to be outstanding everyone and like that, but you can just (like the first answerer said) do what they say, relax, and do your best at what they say, don't go above and beyond because then they'll be like..."don't do that or you're off", ya know? good luck, have fun!!

Notihng, it's not like you're the leading role. They don't care about you. My advice is to get over yourself, you're not a star
