As of today, I'm going to have to go with Auburn. They'll be at home, and they're playing better ball right now. The Tigers didn't look so great the first half of this season, but since the Florida game, they have made major strides, partially due to the aid of the two UGA alum assistants. :0)

Nick Saban will get Alabama where it needs to be. He just doesn't have the type of players that is best for his system yet. I expect the series to be even over the next 10 years, but I'm afraid the Tigers may make it 6 in a row, which really won't set well with Tide fans.

Auburn vs. Alabama is the nation's most passionate college football rivalry. As a Georgia fan living in N.C., I can feel the reverberations coming from the Yellowhammer State. I always tune into that game.

I am an Alabama fan and at this point in the season I have no idea who will win the Iron Bowl. There are three main factors to a victory at Auburn:

\\LSU//

It really depends on how Alabama fares at home against LSU. Right now, Auburn has the obvious advantage--more skillful, higher in the rankings, coach has been there longer--but if we can beat LSU--a HUGEEE "if" based mainly on Saban's desire for his old team to lose--then we can defeat Auburn.

\\THE ROAD GAME//

It is a road game, though, and that could be a big factor. Look at Florida State and Ole Miss--both road games, one a loss, and the other verrry close. Then, look at Arkansas, Tennessee, and Georgia. Except Tennessee, both games were close. So do we play better at home or on the road? This could be the difference in a win at the Iron Bowl.

\\THE DESIRE FOR AUBURN TO BE DECIMATED AND JOHN PARKER WILSON (ALONG WITH SOME OTHERS)//

However, even if we don't win when we play LSU, sheer revenge might take over the players. I mean, it has been 5 years since Alabama has beat Auburn--NONE of the current players on the team were there the last time... I know that they want it reallyyy bad. Now we come to John Parker Wilson and the rest of the team as individuals. If JP performs like he did against Tennessee, we have a pretty good chance of winning. However, if he has one of his "off days" we are in deep trouble. We know DJ Hall will be a big player. How long will Caldwell and Coffee be suspended? If they stay suspended, this could make a difference. Grant needs to step it up; he's a great player, but he needs to run it a little farther. If Arenas gets to Auburn's punts, he will make great plays. Again, if desire for win outweighs players' skill, Alabama's got this one in the bag.

Whoever wins, I know that the 2007 Iron Bowl is gonna be an all-out warrr!! I can't wait.

Auburn their defense is awesome. their offense will improve by then which it has gradually been doing. Alabama's defense is not so hot but still a close game as always.

plus Auburn is at home.
