First of all... Are you rooting for Indians or Red Sox?
Secondly... Was it a homerun or not?
And thirdly... Why the hell didn't he run? He's a great player, one of my favorites. But walking out of the box after every time he THINKS he's hit a homer is ridiculous... and in this case... watching the ball bounce off the wall and just standing at first is just stupid. What are your opinions?

You all are entitled to your opinions... as am I. Manny is a genious when it comes to baseball. He's got one of the best eyes in the game, and he's an overall excellent player. Granted, he can get a little excited, or even cocky, but who wouldn't? He thought he had hit ANOTHER homer in the world series! All of you that are trashing him are either uneducated or stupid. Yea, you could say you don't have respect for a showoff... but you can't diss the man's game. He's amazing. I'm just a bit disappointed in the decision he made. And when it comes to his comment... he wasn't saying he didn't give a sh*t about what happened... he was trying to say it's just a game. They're gonna give it all they got but if it's not enough... they'll be here next season to prove themselves.

In answer to your first question, I was born and raised in Boston - nuff said.
Secondly, he's a great player, but he's also arrogant. He should have run instead of standing there to watch it - very presumptuous on his part. Stopping at first was just stupidity on his part - there's no reason he couldn't have run.

This play people can complain about. But you see, don't you, that he is a hitting machine, right? Britt brat is like a lot of people who are English only bigots and zootriot is on the 'everyone hate Manny so I do too' bandwagon. It was a bad play. Very bad. Name another? I can't. He's hitting like a genius and had one pretty good play in left as well. Some idiots think that he should speak English better than Joe Buck and that he should wear his hair like a presidential candidate but I don't see how that would make him a better player and he's playing like a machine.

I'm with the announcers. This is why I'm against replay in baseball. Even the camera couldn't tell you whether it was out or not. Why stop the game to guess anyway?

Hey, I'll stick up for any good player being maligned, including Manny. I'm rooting for the Indians however because I picked them to win it all before the season began.

I'm a Red Sox fan. Through the bone.

It was unquestionably a HOMERUN!

It doesn't matter if he ran or not. He should have been afforded the other 3 bases.

Don't pay attention to Tim McGraw. He's obviously a piece of bias garbage who shouldn't be acknowledged.

In any case, he could have been thrown out at second base given the circumstances.

And you know what? The SAME circumstances are now on the table for MANNY .500+. Lets see what happens with the guy everyone loves to HATE!

Keep on hating TRIPE fans. Get ready for Red Sox Nation.

Do you feel that Tsunami of momentum washing over your team and your fans? Fear and Loathing at Fenway, Babay!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Indians. I don't know whether is was a homerun or not, I'm listening on the radio (my DVR only lets me record 2 shows at a time, and I can't watch a third, so CSI and the Office are recording and I'm listening to the game) but I can tell you even without seeing it, Manny is so full of himself that he has forgotten how to play the game. There is a reason why there is a coach at first base. His job is to tell you whether to keep running or whether you are out. There is no reason why you should be watching the ball once you hit it.

Manny is a first ballot hall-of-famer, but he is a fool. All you need to know about him was when he played for Cleveland he looked up to the bizarre bully, Albert Belle. Anyone who would think for a second Belle had anything significant to add to society is an utter dope.

1. Red Sox
2. Not a homer
3. Trying to find logic in Manny's decisions is dumber than some of Manny's decisions!

1) Sox
2) Yes
3) I don't care, I love his swagger
4) It doesn't matter, because a group of umpires that are supposeudly good enough to call this PLAYOFF game, didn't get the call right in the first place. Besides, getting to second doesn't matter if Mike Lowell strikes out anyway.

His actions are a disgrace to the spirit of the game. Good hitter yes but not respected. I'm pulling for the sox to watch them get run over by Colorado.

Red Sox...Yes, it was a HR...Manny has a way with knowing whether its going out(HR) or gonna be caught...He shouldn't have tried to go home when he was called out at the plate...
