Unless you REALLY know what you’re doing you will ruin it!!

Take it to a professional or just let it be…

More antiques have been ruined by improper cleaning!!

The “Patina” of age might be one of the main reasons for its value!

If you change the “Patina” it might end up worthless…

You don't. It has to go to a professional gallery that knows how to clean sensitive artwork materials or you will ruin it. The map should be handled by a professional anyway for proper framing in order to preserve it or it will eventually disintegrate.
