Try going to Tools, Internet Options, "Advanced" tab, & check the box that says "Enable Personalized 'Favorites' List".

Then, click Favorites on your toolbar & click Organize favorites.

Click on the Add to Favorites icon,(green plus+ sign in front of 'gold' star, and scroll down to Organize Favorites.(Left side of browser)

Go to the top. Click 'Favorites'. Then right-click on any of your favorites and select 'Sort by name'.

I've been doing the click and drag method to sort my faves. Glad to see there's a "sort" option! LOL

Right click on the list and choose 'Sort'

you use firefox, it imports your favorites, and has them in alphabetical order.
