I want to be able to write letters and documents,

I tried to use this disc I have that's Microsoft word 2002
but it doesn't fully load or something is wrong with it.
So Does anyone know an easy way I can make letters and be able to print them out???

You can try the free office suite OpenOffice.org

Or if you have a google account (like gmail) you can use Google Docs which is very powerful and web-based.

If they are not very complicated letters (don't have fancy fonts and type sizes) then just use Microsoft's Note Pad that comes free with Windows. You usually find that under PROGRAMS, ACCESSORIES. Just type with it to create a text file. Then print that file on your printer (or send it as an email).

A little better than Notepad is Wordpad, also on the computer. Its just a step up from notepad cause it has more functionality.
Usually computers, when purchased, come with Works. Are you sure you dont have that? Its a smaller version of word.
