alright.
i'm a freshman too and a couple weeks ago we had our homecoming game and after begging and pleading, my mom finally let me go. (she's the protective one for me). so i went with my friend and it was fine.

dont act immature about it when asking your dad. just say "dad, this is an important game for my school and i'd like to be there to cheer the team on. its a school event supervised by adults so how could anything bad happen?" or something like that. thats what i did.

if parents see you're acting like a baby, they will treat you like one.

but watch out towards the end because kids might start smoking something or drinking alchohol. but dont tell your dad that part. LOL.

best of luck!

That doesn't sound very fair. But it's the way things are with him I guess. Just ask him very politely if you can go with a large group of close friends, you'll "behave yourself", and come home right after the game. A high schooler should be able to go to their own football game. It's supporting you're school.

I can tell you why he doesnt want you to go. He prolly did the same type of things I did when in high school and I can tell you now, I would not want my daughter in that scenario. No garuntee that something bad would happen, but the odds are in favor of it.

Hes just being protective because he loves you and wants the best for you.

he's worried that the guys are gonna try to take advantage of you... lol tell him the guys are gonna be watching the game.. not worrying about trying to tap you.. lol if they wanted to they would do it somewhere else a little less....crowded and when they were in the mood
