I hate winter, so I need something to cheer me up!

No lawns to mow!
No yard work.
No hot weather.
No lines at the outdoor swimming pool.
Holidays like St. Nicholas Day/Sta. Lucia /Hanukkah/Christmas/Kwanzaa/
New Years Eve/Day.
Mobs in shopping malls.
Xmas Lights
need I go on? I didn't think so!

I hate winter too, but we have to think posative, lets see lets start with the cold weather, it makes us appriciate warm weather, and what about the snow ....it helps us to see how much our dog is pissing....and the ice....it shows us that we can more faste than we ever thought, all we need is a little bit of ice, and away we go....then there is the time change....it gets dark earlier in the winter.....it helps us learn to do things in the dark.......gee this has been wonderful.......are we having fun yet?

wow winter to me is my 2 kids birthdays an Christmas all rolled into one...... I love it an i would not change it for the world....... OK i do not like the cold but when you have kids you will do anything 2 make them happy an i an happy having snow ball fights an making snow men even though i am freezing..... kids come first.... cold comes last x

winter kills off all the excess bugs and mozzies, and quite a few germs, the snow is beautiful, you dont sweat as much, you needent feel guilty about loafing about in the house, as the weather is too nippy to go out, you can catch up on all the books you want to read, its cozy all wrapped up in your winter woolies, the cat dosnt wander off so much and worry you sick, you are justifed in drinking a nice hot toddy to keep the cold out, and you dont have to eat so many bloody salads!

i always like to decorate the house inside and out with lights and decorate the Xmas tree. why don't you try ice skating with some friends or go sledding you might think your to old but really its fun. You can't dis it till you try it they say so go out and enjoy the snow.make a snowmen some snow angles anything hope you enjoy this winter

I was thinking exactly that while in bed this morning, not wanting to get out and then I thought how beautiful it can look somedays, I still dont like the way the bitter cold feels though!!

i hate winter and tend to hibernate till it's over, i don't find any positive aspects about winter at all, part from cozy nights by the fire...

looking out the window on christmas morning to a beautiful blanket of snow, building snow men, snowball fights, tobogganing, coming home and getting changed into comfy clothes, put the heating on, get a cuppa and watch something good on the telly(you should watch casanova with david tennant, brillliant).

SLEDDING!!! I've gone many times since I've gone past the age of 21!!! I'd go around 10 or midnite with an old friend & we'd have a blast. We'd get hot cocoa afterwards. DO IT! I hope you have snow where you are!!! :)

im possitive i will buy loads of tissues, as winter makes us all have colds , whoever said winter frosts kills off germs was a fibber iv ,,never known so many people get sick , as in winter
