Distance between downtowns Venice and Milan is 171 miles (of which abt. 2 miles walking in Venice...!!). You may count abt.5 miles less if you mean distance between the 2 outskirts.

there is also the possibility to go in train from Venice to Milan. the travel is approximately 3 hours.

You can do a search on mapquest. Type in the cities, and there ya go. Distance and driving directions (should you need them) But for the exact answer....173.12 Miles. ;)
