I'm eight months pregnant and my stomach is getting very tight and stretched, today I noticed that all around my belly button it feels bruised and tonight my husband and mother told me it's slightly green. Is this normal? Should I be worried? I have an appointment Tuesday so I plan on telling my doctor. I just wanted your guys opinions?

no it's not that hormonal line...because it is a circle all around my belly button...not a "line"

its way normal my mother had the same thing the baby is just kicking and growing=)thats all good luck to your baby and you!

I am 40 weeks tomorrow and I have a faint bluish bruise around my belly button. I asked my doctor and she said it was just from my belly button stretching. Hope this helps.

Wow, I've never heard of that either! I know that you can get a line like a bruise from your belly button upwards. Good thing you are seeing the dr.

Mine looks the same, I have linea nigra (the line) and then a bluish purple ring around my belly button

You may get a line from your pubic bone to your belly button. This is called the linea negra and it occcurs frequently during pregnancy because that muscle seperates. That's probably all they are seeing.

i don't think it's anything to worry about. you're getting near the end of your pregnancy and wierd things start to happen.
