I ran out of room to completely state my problem, so here it is:

When I put on my emergency blinkers, only the left side will blink. So I thought maybe the bulb on the right blinker stopped working. But when I use my right blinker normally to turn right, it will work. What is going on with my car? Any ideas? Maybe a fuse or something.

If the turn signal works, it would be safe to assume that the wiring from the switch to the light is ok. One suggestion that has already been mentioned would be to change the flasher unit. On most cars the hazard flasher uses a different flasher switch than a turn signal flasher. However inside the steering column the turn signal switch and emergency flasher switch may not always use the same contacts. That means your turn signal lever will cause the contacts to connect but the hazard switch may not be allowing the right side contacts to connect.. If changing the hazard flasher does not fix the problem, then you may have to dig into the steering column. If you never have done that before or don't have the tools to remove the lock plate and retaining ring then you might consider taking it to someone. There is a very powerful spring behind the lock plate. You can remove it without the proper tools, but you will be reduced to primal rage and cussing before you get it off.

It's probably not a fuse.

Try replacing the flasher unit, some are double pole. Also if there is a relay between the flasher and the lights you might try that as well.

A Chilton's or Haynes manual for the particular car will supply you with wiring diagrams. The books are around $20 to $25 but worth every cent if you plan to keep the car for more than a few months.

Good Luck, the electrics in new cars can be a nightmare of Biblical proportion.

Somewhere there is a wire broken loose! Start at the Flasher Switch, then go to the Wires at the Light in the trunk, if that doesn't fix it. Electrical shop to Trace the Circuit!

the flasher for that side is bad or inside the sterring wheel the wires ain't connecting right to make it work. You probably need the wiring harness and turn signal and flasher piece that goes from the top of the steering wheel and connnects to the bottom
