We all have opinions of others. We can all be critical. You have to know the difference between constructive and/or destructive criticism. How I feel about what that person just said to me - is really my choice. If I think he or she may be right? Well maybe they are. If I think she is wrong, I don't have to believe what they say. Accept criticism, and learn from it - if you think you need to learn, without feeling put down. It also depends on how the criticism is said. It's not what they say, but how they say it. I won't accept abuse, name calling, sarcasm etc...not even in jokes. Tell me with respect - or I won't listen! And if I have something to say - I will also try to say it, with respect. Choose your words carefully. And remember - we are all human. We all have faults. We all make mistakes. We all say the wrong words, without meaning to offend.

Realize that words cannot cause pain. It is what you "think" about what you heard spoken, that causes the pain to arise!
