I believe they overcharged me, also I believe the machanic drove my car for errands... because I found a baby toy, and other personal items in the back seat ( that don't belong to me) plus my car was low on gas when I got it back. What should I do ??

Document everything, they should have put the odometer reading on your reciept, if that is different than what your odomoeter read when you got the car back, that is a clear sign.

Many garages, especially monroe put a disclaimer on their work that you are authorizing them to use your car (drive it I mean) in order to test work, or figure out if something is wrong, I have never heard of anything like this.

I would double check everything, call the manager, if that gets you no where, go one higher and contact their corporate headquarters at http://www.monro.com/ - using the contact monro link. If that does not work, keep going higher and higher, BBB, local chamer of commerce, etc.

You should call the manager of the shop.Tell the mananger what has happened and go from there. If the mananager gives you a problem call the BBB and report them .Hope this helps.

Call them and ask for an estimate. Is that easy.
