Why are blacks different in america?

Blacks in africa were very nice. The blacks in america that I've met have been rude, racist and aggressive. Why are they so different?

They are bitter & do you blame them? Although I have felt the sting of reversed racism. I am not a racist & it was undeserved. I don't understand why some, definately not all, do this, especially when they know what it does. It also keeps ppl from moving forward. Racism is very serious still & whites, blacks are not the only ones involved.

Frankly, you can't classify all Black Americans as being rude, racist, and aggresive. Your interactions with Blacks are probably less than the number of times you take a crap each day. Maybe if you get to know someone and see what's on the inside, your views would change drastically. EVERY race has rude, loud, obnoxious, idiotic morons. So, if you're going to ask a question, please stop targeting Blacks as a means of creating tension and hatred.

I Agree. I worked in an industry where it was predominantly African blacks and they were the nicest, most hard-working bunch of guys you could ever know. What's ironic is that alot of them came from horrible environments with disease and poverty. Yet American blacks act as though they have it so hard. Whats the old saying "the squeaky wheel gets the oil"

I agree. American blacks have a chip on their shoulder. Blacks I've met from other continents are completely different. Of course the ones I've net from other continents are all hard working professionals trying to get ahead in the world. I haven't met any "Gimmee-gimmee-gimmees".

Skin color really doesn't mean anything -- I think culture is more important. American culture is racist in general. Blacks in Africa have tribal prejudices that we don't have here. Besides, you can find nice black Americans. I dated one in LA.

It seems obvious to me. We tend to be more literal and Africa, the East and Southern Hemispheres tend to be more spiritual. Never heard of Soul? I love it.

You can't really stereotype everyone into these two groups. There are rude, rascists agressive africans as well nice american blacks.

Maybe because they had to deal with 400 yrs of slavery and had to go through so much crap just to get recognized as a people in this nation and still have to deal with racism against them to this very day.

beacuse they grew up poor and in the ghetto so they think its cool to break the rules and not have respect

the ones in afrika are nice because they have no time to pick up bad manners because they are too busy trying to survive

but the ones in europe are the best =]
