sort of like the internet address thingy tries to guess what youre typing same happens when i use google search is can i turn that off?

Windows XP, from Internet Explorer:
Tools
Internet Options
where is says "Browsing History," click Delete
near the bottom, click Delete all
click Settings (next to Delete)
near the bottom, days to keep pages in history - set to 0
each day starts you fresh

goto internet explore, goto internet options and goto history. delete all the history and saved data.
