It was mainly for the kids who were in the "vitual portfolios" with the advice to sell when it sprints up. It is a ballsy investment for those who can afford to watch the market for much of the day.

It fell with the subprimes. Its 3 & 4 will be aided HEAVILY by today's $91 mill deal The housing recession will eventually end - those buying in it now will smile later

First, I didn't see that note.

Second, the company had a 52-week peak (13.50) back in February, then in May started a serious decent from around $10, going down to $0.50 in mid-August. Now it is back to $2.60-70ish.

Third, the company has a $20 revenue per share but an earnings per share of $-0.03. Standard & Poors gives it a relative strength rating of 4 (in 0 to 99, with 99 being best). Reuters says it has a lot of value catch up (book value at about $9, btw), and technical factors that say outperform, but underperform in operational factors. Going through their comparisons, there are a pile of things that match their overall assessment of "neutral".

Finally, it is a HOMEBUILDER! D. R. Horton recently spoke of its dismal sales, with a 48 percent order cancellation rate. Tarragon may eventually recover, but until the credit problem is solved and we don't creep (or get pushed) into a recession (or worse), any price appreciation would be comparatively (as in compared to earlier "normal" pricing) small and about as sturdy as a leaf on a tree in autumn.

Sorry, I'm not touching it.

Ah, for the kids, yep, might be interesting for play money in the sims, I see your point. Some good recovery potential for sure, there is that book value base. But for real money, I'm waiting.

This is not a medium to promote stocks. Who is going to listen or pay attention to you.
