Can you tell me why you take, a newspaper or a book when you to the toilet. I can't imagine myself sitting there and reading. Don't you get cold or uncomfortable. I'm really baffled as to why you do this.

Strange as it may seem I do some of my best reading on the loo! I always take a book or a magazine with even when Ive fnished i sit there for ages reading. I know its a weird habit and I dont know why I started it and when? I think that it might be the quietness so you can concentrate Because i cant read when Im in bed the words never sink in and I read the same bit over and over until I get bored with it?
Thats a good question youve got me wondering now?

I don't.
I think it's sick and than especially when they bring the book and/or magazine out with them and set it on a table or something.
I'm sorry but I am baffled by the thought too and I will never have an answer to that question.

I take it in the bathroom to read it. No husband to interrupt or swipe a section of the paper away from me. None of my kids can bother me in the bathroom either. It's the rule of the house. I put the toilet seat down and sit on it. I don't read when I really need to use it (the toilet). I just use the bathroom to escape and be by myself.

Put it this way if i have to spend time in the toilet 4 what ever reason i would want it reading a book or magazine......... i couldn't imagine sitting there or sh*ting there it eating a pack of biscuits!!!! lol

Because I get bored looking at the toilet walls and floor and hottub, etc. I just wonder how people can finish their business without using a little bit of reading!

My acceptable woman: one million) Auburn hair 2) eco-friendly eyes 3) great determine 4) gentle voice 5) Nympho 6) clever 7) very few inhibitions 8) wealthy 9) dependable 10) exciting to be with. i does no longer insist on 5 of those yet you probably did say acceptable!!

I can't listen to music, but I can be on the laptop, or read, or do homework usually. Whenever I do these things though, I tend to spend more time droppin' the kids off at the lake.

Because sometimes, people know they're going to be in there a while, and instead of just sitting there, staring at the wall, they bring something to read.

Its the only times us mum's get 5 seconds peace to catch up on world issues without someone screaming "mum mum mum "
