There was an interview with Nas about his next album, "******," and he said this:
"I go to a club, and my favorite sh-- is Soulja Boy"
Anyone else think that someone who started the whole "Hip Hop Is Dead" thing really shouldnt be saying that? I really don't know what Nas is thinkin

No, he is completely right. You guys don't get it. In the club, all the music that you hate like Young Joc and Soulja Boy and Hurrican Chris becomes the better music. Nas isn't the only emcee to think this way. Immortal Technique would also agree with this, every song has its place. That being said, I do disagree a little bit because I think Soulja Boy's dance is terrible.

damn I hate to say this but what mainstream artists doesnt like soulja boy, I mean they probably dont LIKE him, but they probably enjoy doing the dance, and who gives a f*ck about a soulja Boy , the dude is only 17 who's just trying to get money(dont get me wrong , hise's pathetic, and if you didnt know "snap music" IS NOW A GENRE and soulja boy falls in it. I dont even consider him hip hop so f*ck it, and Nas probably doesnt either, so thats why he aint sweatin the little n*gga...thats probably his favorite "snap music" song...me personally HATE crank dat soulja boy song LOL
