How do I simplify this complex fraction by using method II?

(8x / x-3) / (1 / 5x-15)

8x 1
---- divided by --------
x-3 5(x-3)

8x 5(x-3)
---- x -----------
x-3 1

the 2 x-3 cancel out
answer would be 40x

Notational nightmares. Learn how to use symbols of groupings. Mathematics is difficult enough without asking us to be clairvoyant and have to guess what you meant with your careless notation.
