I like Starbucks but I only go there when I am visiting friends in Nashville. Other than that I make my own coffee or support the local shops. Besides they have a thing about not supporting troops...

No, overpriced swill. For just a cup of joe, McD's has the best as rated by consumer reports, beat out Starbucks over 2 to 1.

I don't like Starbucks, it is a place for loosers to hang out and act like they are somebody, besides, the coffee is not worth what they charge for it!!!

i got a love hate thing.
i don't like chains, they have no personality. and their coffee is actually not that good.
but they've gotten the whole country aware of coffee, they've increased demand, and other, smaller, mom-and-pop cafes are opening up.
before starbucks i couldn't get a good cup of coffee in ft lauderdale. now there are lots of cafes and i can get great coffee at lots of small shops.
and i actually hear that starbucks treats its employees very well.

I have some severe heart problems that cause me to be unable to tolerate much caffeine,,,but I still like Starbucks. I just have to be very careful.

I really dont. I have actually gotten nasty with the server before when I order a large coffee and the punk said, you mean Grande. I said no, i mean large jack@$$.
People seem to be real stuffy in there. The coffee isnt bad I guess. just the majority of the clientele I run into there.

Starbucks saved my husbands life while in China. It was the one little piece of home that he could always find. Decorated just the same and the prices were the same too. They always called him by his name and it gave him that morning boost that he needed to deal with his insane boss. (Believe me guys, they have no idea how to run a manufacturing plant over there)

I like a good cup of coffee I don't care where it's from. Yeah I like them OK, I mean they have done some things a friend of mine that's in the Army told me about, kinda not supporting American troops, but other than that yeah strong coffee, I like very much, Oh and the caramel frapachino, mmm, good! =)

I go to Dunkin for my daily iced coffee, but I go to starbucks on the weekend...the green tea frap is yummy!
