Start running. I joined my Cross Country team at my school and since then my periods have been three to four days long and really light.

Running also gets rid of cramps. As does Midol.

I have really bad periods, so I have found that if I use tampons during the day and pads at night they seem to be a couple of days shorter, when I was in the Army I never got my period, I loved it.

Birth Control.

Before, I had serious PMS, cramps, etc. My periods were 7 days long and ALWAYS heavy.

On pills, my periods last about 3-5 days and are pretty light. Cramps are not that bad.

There's nothing really, but if you see a doctor, he/she will probably put you on the pill to help with all that... that's what he did to me.. I still get pains, but not puke so much.. I used to be awful.
