I have a class from 2:00-3:15 p.m. but every time I am in that class I fall asleep. I don't know what to do. I have tried the whole cup of coffee thing, (as for soda and energy drinks, no thanks what so ever) but that does not work. I get enough sleep at night. What is going on? Can some one out there give me an idea.

That is a sleepy time of day for many people.

Make sure you are eating a light and healthy lunch and then try a snack before your 2:00 p.m. class starts. Something like a yogurt could pick you enough to get to the end of the day. Be sure you are drinking enough water everyday as well.
Tea with no sugar or milk helps some people more than a cup of coffee does.

Aromatherapy might work for you as well. Try citrus scents to pick you up. Patchouli is the scent that would help me wake up on night shift. However, it smells like hash oil, so be sure you have the source of the scent with you. I was on the way to being fired when I first used it at work, but when I showed them the source they let it go.

And ... maybe the class is just plain boring!!! Maybe you could get the teacher to let you listen to music once the lesson was done. It might help keep your senses aware.

If it's only this one class you're having a problem with, maybe the room is too warm. You could ask the teacher to turn it down a little.

You say you're already getting enough sleep.

If you're having problems the rest of the day, talk to your doctor. There may be a medical reason.

For me, my blood sugar drops around this time. Try making sure you have a healthy snack about 30 min before hand and avoid too many carbs and sugars before hand since they will make you crash.

you can start taking sleeping pills like dramamine or trying to go to sleep earlier.
watching tv and being on the computer right before bed keeps you awake too.
or you could try meditating that workss.XD

Eat something right before the class (preferably starch).
