I am buying a custom machine from ibuypower.com

Is it worth it to buy the 8800 GTX ultra x2??

Will this improve my gaming performance at all or will it run the same as 1 card? I am looking for gaming performance not multitasking.. So basically the question is, will 2 video cards help out my framerate over 1 video card? And is the 2x Videocard thing just for two monitors or is it for performance... Thank you all answers appreciated!!!

It will improve your framerates, from like 70 to 100. Of course you cannot visually tell a difference in anything over 30, so its just a bragging rights type of increase, nothing really tangible.

Why 2 HDDs? From the factors you're getting it form of feels like cost selection isn't a huge challenge. So change that 1TB for a superb SSD boot force, 128GB SATA III needed M4 or OCZ Vertex 3. Your video games and OS will load a number of cases swifter. An previous middle 2 Duo with an SSD will nonetheless be swifter to load apps, video games and homestead windows than the configuration you defined.
