Yes, it happened to me. I didn't get a positive until I was 7 weeks pregnant. Sometimes it just takes longer for the pregnancy hormone to show up in some people.

Yes it is possible. I was 3 months pregnant before the doctors could confirm that I was, in fact, pregnant. Prior to that, I had been to the hospital feeling sick and a test was done at each of those appoints. I went to the dr. almost every month and each time, the test came back negative.

yes you can. it normally doesn't happen but in some cases the prenancy hormone does not show itself in your body for a longated period of time causing you to have a negative pregnancy test when in fact you are pregnant. One of the best ways to find out is a blood test, they are way more accurate than a urine sample. Please keep in mind that stress can cause a missed period or being around other females too often can throw your cycle and cause you to start running on another persons cycle. Normally these things don't cause you to be extremely late though. I hope this helps.

Yes, if the test is faulty. Try another at home test to be sure. If it comes out negative and you still don't get your period go to the crisis pregnancy center (or something equivalent) and they will give you a test for free.

Yes, to know for sure, get a blodd test from your doctor. Some women don't get a positive HPT until they are up to 8 weeks.

Yes because your hormones hasn't showed the right result to your body. It will take an extra week to get the right result.

it measures the level of a certain hormone (excreted into your urine). It's possible taht even though pregnant, you aren't producing enough of this.
A blood test at the doctor is more precise.
