use candles and flashlights, read, go outside, be happy that my dad decided to keep the gas stove, be very sad for the people who need electricity to stay alive in hospitals, use my battery powered stuff, I'd be fine.

At my house we have lots of oil lanterns and candles to use for light. For heat and cooking, there is a wood-burning stove which we usually use to cook the Thanks Giving turkey in. For water, there is a cistern with a pump just outside the backdoor. For food, there are vegetables, jellies, and dandelion wine in the cellar. My family and I could live somewhat comfortably although I might go through Internet withdrawal. :)

I would probably go out and purchase a gas powered generator. Just be careful it's far enough away from the home and not near any open windows where it can enter the home and create carbon monoxide poisoning.

I'd get kinda sad, since there would be no Internet for me! But I suppose that it could be good, since I could spend time with my friends and talk or do something that doesn't involve electronics.

I'd read by candlelight, also I wouldn't be able to work, so that would be a plus.
