Not being in the habit of wearing either, I'm afraid I wouldn't know.

I was thinking the same thing when i noticed that my junk was noticeable as I was walking down the hallway. You cant wear boxers with them very well anyway

I guess it would depend on the material. Obviously plaid denim shorts would not be good underwear.

Nope, boxers have the little hole in the front that you can open up at the most inconvenient times.
