Are you serious? Isn't this just REAL Christianity in practise? Jesus said that true Godliness is to feed the fatherless, care for the widow etc. As a Christian nation (so called) this should be done. Having a universal medical system is good and does not have to curtail freedoms.
Anyway, WHAT freedoms do you have? Go to a public place and read Marx (aloud), no problems. Go to a public place and read the Koran (aloud) or pray in Muslim dress facing Mecca. No problems. Go to a public place and read the bible (aloud) problem, pray aloud in the name of Jesus, problem. No, you have lost many freedoms already. Wake up and smell the coffee.

Since when is AFFORDABLE health care Socialism. Do you really understand what Socialism is or do you simply ape the hate mongers who will stoop to any kind of lie just to keep programs from happening for the poor and elederly? Have you actually read the health care proposal of Hillary Clinton. If you do you can hardly call it Socialism since the money will be paid to health care providers by private insurance companies. I know you and your neocon buddies hate kids especially those of struggling families but Democrats care and so the SChip is a simple leg up until we can provide something better. Renewing the Schip, which most people want, is stifled only by Republicans in Congress and the Republican President who don't care about the will of the people. They love to obstruct the people's will. They use scare tactics like calling care of the well being of children Socialism or how those who dare oppose a war that should never have happened as being unpatriotic. People are seeing through their rhetoric now and we should see a Democratic landslide next year. Sadly some of those kids won't live to see it because the Republicans in Congress and the Repbulican President don't want them to live and they prove it by not voting for the Schip, the veto, and subsequent failure to vote to override the veto. They had the chance to be real heroes but instead they played politics with the lives of children in struggling families. How much meaner can they possibly get?

In your political science book you should read up on the similarities we have with capitalism(or fascism).
In fact, click the link and on either side of the flag, take a look at the symbols.

That symbol represents classic fascism. The rods represent individuality and freedom, tied together, ruled by a central point, the axe-head.

Why is the Fascist symbol, the fasces, the very symbol from which the word fascism comes from, why is it sitting behind the Presidential Podium in Congress?

The Federal Reserve introduced immediately that income inequality is the worst in historical past. to respond to the question, merely placed, many people nonetheless have faith in socialism. possibly it works properly in some worldwide places yet no longer right here. Sharing greater with the administrative.to help people isn't a foul thought in itself, besides the incontrovertible fact that it works the place you have a inhabitants that takes the duty to make contributions as much as they might and merely no longer loose load .yet it extremely is not united states of america of america. people have not got the paintings ethic of the Germans or Swedes. There are just to many that're working age and could merely lay around and assume others to assist them.

Don't think so! That word is not well accepted in this country! Not at all! Just say the word & eveyone just freaks out!
The sad part is that no one is trying to take us down that road, & others are misrepresenting the issue. Some are just trying to get health care for those most in need, that's it, no more than that! The word Socialism just adds fuel to the fire that keeps those most in need from getting the help they need in our high cost of living, lower income, country.

Get rich quick schemes in the capitalist business world, (buyouts, IPOs, conglomerates, acquisitions, mergers, and the stock market), do not actually work. Remaining solvent does not actually exist within false economics capitalism.

Profit existing in the capitalist business world, or millionaires existing within capitalism, is pathological deception committed by the 21 organizations spying on the population with plain clothes agents, (with covert fake names and fake backgrounds).

Actual economics is the persons paying the monthly business loan payments of companies voting at work in order to control the property they are paying for.

Capitalism is the psychology of imaginary parents, false economics, and the criminal deception of employees that are paying the bills (including the stocks and bonds, or shares) of companies.

Anti-democracy republicanism is the psychology of imaginary parents and false government.

The call for Universal Health Care is a move down the road towards Socialism. The problem with private health care is insurance companies, malpractice lawsuits causing inflated health care costs, and the inability to deliver top notch health care services to the needy and even to the middle class. The real question is: SHOULD we go down the road of Universal Health Care?

A long time ago.

What we're seeing today is the end-game of socialism - mounting debt, a lack of real political choice, and failing markets dominated by politically connected monopolies and oligopolies.

The final step would be a complete merger of state and corporate power - followed by the inevitable food shortages & purge of undesirables (people who are not cost-effective to the collective)

No.
We are the most capitalistic country in the world. If we move any further AWAY from socialism, the Robber Barons will come back and child labor will have to be restarted.

""In this market-oriented economy, private individuals and business firms make most of the decisions, and the federal and state governments buy needed goods and services predominantly in the private marketplace. US business firms enjoy greater flexibility than their counterparts in Western Europe and Japan in decisions to expand capital plant, to lay off surplus workers, and to develop new products.""
