I love unique names! It is especially hard to choose unusual names for boys because most of them are very traditional (Michael, David, John, Matthew). I like Slaydon, but not with Lane because the S-LAY-don has the same beginning sound as the middle name. I would say try Slaydon with other combinations. And as for Rae, well, sounds like Ray, which is a boys name. I have a boys middle name and it isnt fun, especially with my married name.
Just MHO....but you asked.

You're not crazy. The names you suggest are current and trendy. Many people are naming their offspring Kensie, Slaydon and the like.
That said, they are not good choices. Ryan and Jenna might be a little safe, but Makena and Kadence, Slaydon and Kensie are terribly unsophisticated. I expect to see names like those on the nametags of the teenaged Starbucks baristas, not on the business cards of competent professionals.
There are compromises - Kenna or Brenna for a girl, Landen or Logan for a boy. I think if you and your husband could find some middle ground, you'd have a name that would serve your child well from infancy to adulthood - and that's really what naming your kiddo is all about.

Kensie Rae, Jenna Kay, Ryan Lane, Jenna Lane, Ryan Mackenzie - Kadence, I keep thinking Credence (as in Clearwater Revival), I don't care for Slaydon either (reminiscent of Kill Bill/Don), sorry.

Seems like you'll have to compromise since your husband's taste is way more traditional than yours. I'm not too keen on Slaydon, and Lane? The combination sounds like the name of a street. Perhaps if you changed Makena to McKenna or Kadence to Cadence your husband might find them more appealing. Rae is nice for a middle name. How 'bout Jenna Rae? I don't think your taste in baby names quite qualifies as insanity. :) We all have our individual tastes.

Not sure about Slaydon...it is very unique. Would you call him Slay as a NN?
I absolutely love Rae as a middle name!! Kadence Rae is gorgeous but I personally like it spelled Cadence.

this could be a humorous tale precise? It must be a humorous tale. those names are ridiculus. different than Suzanne, thats generic bypass with that. You dont could call your new child Jessica. you will hit upon some thing unique yet do no longer call her some thing stupid like Autumn iciness summer season Sringghe or Rayniye Dayz. Its no longer a contest of "who can discover the funniest infant call" your naming a new child no longer a band. undergo in strategies this infant has to improve up with the call. they are going to be bullied for particular if their call is Wama'amblanga and no person will ever be waiting to prounce or spell it. in simple terms hit upon a special call that's unquestionably a acceptance. follow Suzanne, do no longer make human beings wander what drug you have been on once you had your new child. solid success
