You're supervisor shouldn't be in charge of if you go to the doctor. If you've asked for time off, you technically are entitled to it (especially for health care reasons). There's a bunch of legal webs and loopholes that you could mess around with, or you could call in sick. Honestly, if you're boss has denied you time off, call in sick (or go and leave early with a "stomach flu").

Whoa!

Why won't your supervisor let you go to this appointment?

Is this an emergency appointment or did you make this a while back?

If this is not an emergency appointment you should reschedule.

If this is an emergency appointment, you should call in and say you will be in late (or not at all) and get a note from your doctor that you were at your appointment for whatever reason. If your supervisor has a problem with it talk to Human Resources.

When ever your superisor need you those time. If I were you to ask your supervisor, which day allow you take your day off when you goes your doctor appointment. If they'll give you dayoff and you can change your doctor appointment.

I'm supervisor, I worked for UNLV. If you have any questions you might have? Let me know.

your health comes first, and you need to make her understand that tell her that you will go in as soon as you leave the dr, and let herknow that by u not going to the dr appt you'll get sicker and miss more days than one of work...and if that doesnt work then just leave whenits time to go to the doc and hope u still have a job afterwards

Hi Sweetie,
Tell her this Dr. appt is imperitive & u'll bring a Dr. note, if she doesn't go 4 it can't u reschedule? R just go anyway, u get fired
sue her for lack of morality, & say I'll see u in Court! & go to Human Rights Commision!
She can't deprive u of a Health Issue, go to the Health Brd. too

your supervisor has no right to tell u u cant go to the doctor. that is inconsiderate. call in sick. or leave early because u "got sick from lunch". they have no authority to tell u u cant go to the doctor. thats juss stupid
