There is a tornado warning right now. I live on the 2nd floor of an apartment building. There is a basment floor below the 1st floor.
Where do we take shelter. In my windowless bathroom or downstairs in the basement floor hallway?

Under a stair casing on the basement level Strongest part of a house. It Can hold the weight of anything that falls and you will besafe under it. Crazy as it may sound open windows and doors to relieve air pressure from House

In the basement. That way, if the tornado hit the building, you would underground in a safe environment, instead of being protected by brick and drywall.

The maximum secure place for you would be interior the stairway on the 1st floor - under the stairs in case you may get there. yet someplace you won't be in a position to work out the front door, distinctly if it has glass in it. that provides you the perfect protection if the development gets an instantaneous hit. stay CALM! you won't be in a position to think of in case you panic.
