Easy...watch the Six o'clock News. After that you'll probably realize that your problems pale into insignificance compared to some poor buggers on the planet.
Personally, I used to waste a lot of time wishing I had this that or the other, until one day I totted up what I actually did have. That gave me pause...I feel now that I have no cause for complaint.
Best "advice" I can give is this.......Go your way gently, help where you can...and most important of all, do no harm.

If you are worrying about an idea, you would forget it by tomorrow. If you are worrying about a person, they'll leave you in a heartbeat. Take some time to think about yourself for a while. Being selfish can sometimes build up self confidence. Then, you would be able to take on anything that comes your way.
