Basically weather is what happens everyday vs. climate which is what happens on average.

Weather is the day to day changes where Climate is based on the total changes of weather of a given year and from year to year.

They are not same.Weather is the day-to-day changing atmospheric conditions like the state of the sky or occurance of precipitation etc.
But the climate is the synthesis of the day-to-day values of the meteorological elements (temperature, humidity, sunshine, precipitation, wind etc) that affect a particular locality.Synthesis here implies more than simple averaging.Climate is determined over a long period(more than 30 years) to ensure that representatiive values for the month or season are obtained.
