President Carter was an honest, fair, responsible person and therefore in the wrong line of work. One has to be egotistical, crooked, self center, heartless to be a George Bush type President. We no longer have a Government of ,by , and for the people but one like the Bushes type of, by and for the Bush family. Check there background and find out the criminals the Bushes have been in bed with. Search Bush+Hitler and see the truth of the family and their wealth.

Depends on what, exactly, you mean by "lousy". But to be serious, I can't think of anything Carter did that was right, and can think of many things he did wrong. Bush's main problem is that he picked second-rate help, and didn't fire them soon enough when they commenced to screw up. Rumsfeld is an example, as is General Casey. To his credit, Bush did fire them, but not soon enough. Bush also fails to see that border security and immigration are two separate problems. By not clearly separating the issues, he has let the debate devolve into a confused morass of name-calling, and nothing gets done. Despite these failings, I would rather go with Bush than Carter any day. Hope this is what you were looking for. Have a nice day!

No, Carter was far more incompetent than Bush. Carter's actions lost us our best ally in the gulf and set the stage for the current problems.

I do. Even the devil could not have been worse than Carter. The old man is still causing trouble. Hopefully Bush will just go to his ranch and hang out.I hope!

I didn't think it was possible to have a worse president than Jimmy Carter...that is until Bush came along. He has set the bar really low.

For Carter to come out and criticize Bush is pathetic.....Carter was one of the worst presidents in history.....Can we say inflation....Can we say how Carter "let" americans be taken and all he could do was "not" go to the Olympics? Obviously, his dementia is getting to him....
