What do you think will happen when you die?

Here in the "science and mathematics" section, we are obligated to say that while science describes in great detail what happens to your physical body, the question "is there anything left of me after my physical body dies (the electrochemical activity of my brain ceases), and if so, what happens to that?" is open only to speculation; that is, the answer to your question is outside the scope of science, and therefore open to speculation.

That is to say, anyone's guess is as good as anyone else's.

I hope if I go somewhere, it's a nice place, and my Doggie will be waiting for me there. And there will be no fleas or ticks.

Brain wave tests show that a dead persons brain does not function in any way. It does not receive sensation signals. It is dead.
This is in harmony with the Bible at Ecclesiastes 9:5 which says "the dead know nothing at all." However the Bible holds a promise of being revived from this state. The Bible at Acts 24:15 says "There is going to be a resurrection.... "
It may even surprise some people at who will be resurrected and how merciful the Creator is.

If you believe that when you are dead, you're dead, that is what happens to you.
If you believe in reincarnation, that is what happens.
If you believe that there is a god, you spend eternity with him/her.
Myself, I believe that there is a spark, a life force within us. I look forward to travelling through time and space after I've finished on this earth.

But this is only my personal belief.

I would never force my beliefs on anyone or tell others that what they believe is wrong. That would be a terribly rude thing to do.

Well the sum product of your life, including everything you've ever done, anything you ever said, and even every thought you ever had, is contained in a form of quantum energy we call the soul. This energy is freed from the body and is capable of traveling through extra dimensions. It can travel, or it can remain, or it can be joined with other energy forms. I think heaven is joined energy where data (information) is freely exchanged.

I hope someone will remember me for a little while. And I will go where everyone else went since the beginning of the world...
