She is 13 and she admitted to me that she recently put her foot in her mouth by describing herself as a lesbian because she didn't know what a lesbian was. How about a list of vocab words for her? Any ideas for what the list of vocab words should include?

A list of words isn't going to help that much, but having conversations with her might help. You need to have talks with and discuss some of the things going on in the world. Life on the street is rough, and if she doesn't know some of the street lingo, she could be taken in by some scumbag.

Start with NAIVE, which is what you're trying to say. Means innocent. Just get her a vocabulary book and have her do Reader's Digest vocabulary tests; they should be available online.

Well didn't the person/ persons she told tell her ?
Isn't that called living your own life and learning thru yr own mistakes with support from you... not living her life for her or she will never grow on her own...
The word is naive ...
