In my area we have not had a problem with dropped call with AT&T. I love my RAZR. It compact but not tiny and had a flip cover so I'm not always....accidently.....call ing someone on speed dial.

Remember if you already have a phone with a sim card you do not have to purchase your phone at AT&T. Any unlocked phone that uses sim cards will take your sim card and AT&T wanted over $300. Don't buy a Verizon phone from someone if you service is with AT&T becasue the phones made for them do not use sim cards. If you get a phone that is set up for say Tmobil and is NOT unlocked you can call AT&T and they can give you a code to unlock it, or you can take it to a phone store and they can unlock it but will charge you $25.00.

In my opinion the best phone to get with AT&T would be the Blackberry Pearl. It's great for texting and mobile internet. Plus it has a media player, bluetooth, expandable memory. You could also look at the RAZR V3xx, its similar to the razr v3 but it has a lot of advancements. Check them out on www.phonescoop.com
