its possible. it is genetic, and some colors can skip generations.

my dad has brown eyes
my mom has steel grey/blue/green eyes
my bro has brown
i have hazel brown/green

my brother married a girl with very blue eyes, and their daughter has these wicked cool blue/green/hazel eyes.
